Intergovernmental Relations Committee approves town meeting articles

Stoughton Intergovernmental Relations Committee unanimously cleared all five Annual Town Meeting articles and one Special Town Meeting article for the May 4, 2026 town votes. Committee Chair Frank Lyons presided over public hearings on road funding, federal and state grant applications, Community Preservation Committee budget, low-income housing, and Park and Turnpike Street intersection design; no public comment was recorded. Seven of eight members voted to recommend approval of each article, with Marc Tisdelle (Assistant Town Manager), Barry Kassler, Barry Crimmins (Housing Authority Chair), and Colleen Doherty (Housing Authority Executive Director) presenting.

The committee meets again for other business.
