Library Trustees welcome new member, approve budget updates.
Library Trustees · Meeting of March 10, 2026
STOUGHTON — Library Trustees welcome new member, approve equipment purchases. The board unanimously approved February minutes and welcomed trustee Patricia Martin, while Library Director Christopher McGhee reported replacement of five laptops purchased during Covid using library supplies appropriations, with three additional devices scheduled for replacement in succeeding years under a five- to six-year rotation cycle. The board learned that an exterior first-floor elevator door continues to malfunction intermittently; the Director created a shared Google Drive spreadsheet to improve maintenance reporting.
The library will close Saturdays after June 13, 2026, reopening September 5, and the board received updates on the five-year Strategic Plan community input process and Stoughton Reads Together's selection of The Widow's War by Sally Gunning.
