Stoughton Planning Board unanimously approves Town Hall parking lot renovation and new elementary school. Four members voted to release a $17,600 landscape bond for Chase Bank at 386 Washington Street, approved combining three town-owned parcels into one for the parking lot project at 10 Pearl Street with the addition of 14 parking spaces and pocket parks, and granted final approval to the new 101,590-square-foot elementary school on 27 acres at Distefano Way after the public hearing was closed. The school project, represented by Samiotes Consultants, Inc., had been continued five times since December 2025 and incorporates Transportation recommendations and MassDOT coordination for state highway permitting and potential signalization.
