Stoughton Planning Board continued a major zoning hearing to September 24 after residents raised concerns about traffic, schools, and infrastructure impacts. The board postponed public comment on proposed amendments establishing a Planned Residential Overlay Development district at 150 York Street, the former Sinai Hospital site, which would enable approximately 330 units of housing and donate 13 acres to the town while generating over $1 million annually in tax revenue. The board also approved a fast-food restaurant site plan at 577 Washington Street and rescinded HVAC screening requirements at 19 Camden Street, and continued a site plan review for an industrial building at Canton Street to the same date.
