STOUGHTON — Select Board designates environmental certifying officer, unanimously approving William Roth, Town Planner, for the FY2026 HUD-EDI Community Project Fund Appropriation role required to qualify Stoughton for a $1,000,000 federal grant, which upon receipt will fund final work at the community center. The board also endorsed a draft proposal for the "Arbella" at Stoughton, a 150-unit active adult housing project at 850 Park Street targeted at residents over 55, with rents between $2,200 and $2,800 monthly and privately financed with no public funds requested. Simultaneously, the board unanimously approved a change of hours application for Andy's Food Mart to open at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays instead of noon, in accordance with state law permitting alcoholic beverage sales after 10:00 a.m. on Sundays.
