STOUGHTON — Select Board unanimously appoints Heidi Chuckran as Finance Director. The certified public accountant, with six years of municipal auditing experience, will replace retiring Town Finance Director Ms. Zaleski at month's end; Joseph M.
Mokrisky moved appointment and adoption of her contract, passing 5 yes, 0 no. The board also opened the FY27 Annual Town Meeting warrant unanimously and the FY27 Special Town Meeting warrant on a 4-1 vote, with Town Engineer Marc Tisdelle presenting the five-year capital plan as a draft pending School Department completion and a scheduled public informational session. The board approved early in-person voting at Town Hall for four elections between February and November 2026.
