Select Board approves Jersey Mike's license and three Town Meeting articles.

STOUGHTON — Select Board approves Jersey Mike's Subs license after public hearing. Applicant Brian O'Loughlin stated he has hired Stoughton High School students; board members praised his support of local schools and the music department. The board unanimously approved three Consent Agenda items, including February 3 open session minutes and the 14th Annual Narragansett Summer Running Festival for July 12, 2026.

A separate motion to call for the April 7, 2026 election and ballot passed three to zero with two abstentions. Town Manager Thomas Calter reported the town maintains $20,000,000 in savings and a five-year capital plan, and confirmed Town Meeting on March 2 approved articles to dissolve the Stoughton VNA Enterprise Fund, transfer funds to reduce South Elementary Project borrowing, and allocate supplemental funds for Community Center exterior work.
