STOUGHTON — Select Board continues SMAC breach hearing to March 26. The board unanimously voted to postpone resolution of allegations that Stoughton Media Access Corporation breached five provisions of its August 2023 access agreement, including failure to provide quarterly operational updates, annual financial audits, and a three-year capital budget. Chair Stephen M.
Cavey reported that negotiations are proceeding well, with draft settlement and amended access agreement documents under review by all parties. The continued hearing is set for March 26, 2026 at 7:30 p.m., with potential remedies ranging from termination of the agreement and liquidated damages to waiver of the breach.
