STOUGHTON — The Select Board continued its public hearing on Stoughton Media Access Corporation's alleged breaches of the August 9, 2023 Access Agreement, announcing that counsel for both parties has reached a tentative settlement agreement. Vice Chair Debra Roberts stated that the draft agreement will be submitted to the Select Board and SMAC Board for approval before a joint public meeting is scheduled for resident statements. Chair Stephen M.
Cavey rescheduled the hearing to March 10, 2026 at 7:00 p.m., noting that attorneys advised the delay aims to reach the correct decision rather than pursue hasty resolution. The Board voted unanimously to continue the hearing.
