STOUGHTON — Select Board restricts Thursday meetings to 7:30 p.m. or later. Scott Carrara's motion, seconded by Vice Chair Debra Roberts, passed 3 to 1, with Louis Gitto dissenting and Joseph M. Mokrisky absent; Chair Stephen M.
Cavey recommended consulting Town Counsel before finalizing the policy. The Board unanimously approved the February 17, 2026 preliminary election for two Select Board positions, necessitated by more than six candidates running. A public hearing on alleged breaches of the Stoughton Media Access Corporation agreement was continued to January 29, 2026 at 7:30 p.m., where the Board will consider whether to terminate the agreement, impose damages, or excuse the breach.
