Stoughton Sets Oct. 3 Hazardous Waste Collection Day

STOUGHTON — The Board of Health and Department of Public Works are teaming up on a Municipal Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day, giving residents a set date to clear out chemicals and other hazardous materials before fall.

The collection day is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3, from 8 a.m. to noon, according to a News Flash posted by the town Tuesday afternoon. The Board of Health and DPW are jointly running the event; details on what materials are accepted and how to participate are posted on the town's website.
