Youth Commission approves February meeting date, hears program expansions.

STOUGHTON — The Stoughton Youth Commission scheduled its next meeting for February 24 and heard updates on expanded youth programming and recreation initiatives. Vice Chair Peter Banis called the meeting to order; five members attended. The Stoughton Youth Coalition plans to launch eighth-grade girls and boys middle school groups in March, while Recreation Director Matt reported a girls youth basketball clinic with 16 signups and four parent volunteers.
The recreation department is recruiting for spring and summer positions and exploring a coloring book tied to the town's 300th anniversary, with a Community Center grand opening set for June 13.
