STOUGHTON --
COMMUNITY -- Select Board member Ms. Roberts told the board at its Sept. 22 meeting that Stoughton Day is "coming on October 3rd" and is the town's "chance to remember the nights and celebrate everything that makes our town special, from the road race to the local vendors." The day starts at 8 a.m. with a road race at Halloran Park, followed by a family activity block from noon to 4 p.m. at Halloran Park with live music and vendors. At 4 p.m., a varsity football game is scheduled at Veterans Memorial Stadium, and at 7 p.m. a drone show, presented by the Stoughton 300th Committee, will take place at the Stoughton High School field. Roberts said details are posted on the town website and in the Suburban Shopper.
YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Stoughton Youth Soccer League, which has served the community since 1973, announced its online store is now open, saying "our league earns 10% of all purchases" toward league support.
