STOUGHTON — Select Board approves municipal budget without school department allocation pending state funding decisions. Town Manager Thomas Calter submitted the FY27 operating budget with a 3.01 percent municipal increase to the Finance Committee, voting 4 to 1 to exclude the School Department's $69,612,304 budget pending final state funding decisions expected in late January. The Board also unanimously approved Water Department Rules and Regulations, unanimously accepted a deed for 30 Porter Street that will add 18 parking spaces, and voted 4 to 1 to open the warrant for a March 2, 2026 Special Town Meeting with articles addressing the VNA Enterprise Fund dissolution and community center supplemental funding.
