Stoughton School Committee approves Unit B contract, forwards four SEOC nominees to Select Board

STOUGHTON -- June 16, 2026, Stoughton School Committee ratifies a three-year Unit B administrator contract and selects four candidates for the town's inaugural Standing Equal Opportunity Committee at its June 16 meeting. The agreement with the Stoughton Teachers Association Unit B carries salary increases of 2 percent, 3 percent, and 2.5 percent over three years, with clarified longevity, expense reimbursement, and paid time off language aligned with the previously ratified Unit A contract; the committee approved it unanimously 5-0. The board forwarded Anita Alves, Boaz Petrus, Blensky Mentor, and Rosa Sena Santos, four of six applicants, to the Select Board for final SEOC appointment at its June 22 meeting, with deliberation shaped by the discovery that three applicants share the same employer and two share the same address.
