STOUGHTON -- February 3, 2026, Stoughton Select Board closes FY27 town meeting warrants and sets May 4 as the date for both the annual and special town meetings. The board unanimously inserted 38 articles into the annual warrant and 23 into the special, with Member Lou Gito casting the lone dissenting vote on the special articles, arguing that roughly $2.8 million in police and public works purchases belong in the regular operating budget rather than the special meeting.
